What Type Of Window Treatment Is The Right One For A Kitchen With A Double Windonw?

I have one window over my sink and then two windows side by side where my kitchen table would be which overlooks the backyard. The area between the windows is metal or vinyl so I think I have to have one rod across both windows. I’m thinking about bottom up – top down shades because regular kitchen curtains for the two windows won’t look right on one rod. I guess window sill length vertical blinds would work too. Any ideas? Any good web sites where I can see what others have done?
There are many different types of window treatments available and many web sites but, personally, I have found that fabric curtains end up being best for a kitchen – because of (in my case) food splashes, sometimes an oily film due to cooking. Also, don’t want blinds I can’t wash, in kitchen.
If you are looking for privacy at night – get ones you can pull closed.
Kitchen fabric usually isn’t too expensive, so you could have more than one set of curtains for different times of year – or for a change…
hope this helps in your decision.
if you use shades and then just matching valances over each window, that might look nice and give a coordinated look to your room
